Ek Balam is the most recently opened archaeological site in the region to the public. Ek Balam is an ancient Maya city that thrived even before Chichen Itza. This archaeological site has become one of the most recent Maya attractions thanks to ongoing restoration efforts.
Cenote hubiku
Cenote Hubiku is situated in the town of Temozón, in close proximity to the city of Valladolid and the Chichen Itza Archaeological Zone. Its name in the Mayan language can be translated as “the great lord or iguana nest.”
